What is soulfeast?
It’s the new weekly worship service at FUMC which begins Saturday, September 12. People will gather every week in Soul Café from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for coffee, conversation, live music, and a casual worship experience including a communion celebration. Child care is available for ages 0-4 and older children are encouraged to enjoy the soulfeast experience.
What will the music be like during worship?
David Huffman has assembled a great new band that will bring an acoustic sound to your favorite contemporary praise songs, as well as some of the most loved classic hymns. Song lyrics and other worship imagery will be projected on a screen for all to see.
Who is soulfeast for?
soulfeast is for anyone who would like to worship God in a new way, for long time churchgoers, and for people who wouldn’t normally set foot in a sanctuary. Everyone is invited to a Feast for the Soul every Saturday night. For more information contact David Huffman at dhuffman_fumc@yahoo.com.
